it's not just about riding, we'll also have some fun
Riding is just part of the activities we have planned.
After the ride we'll have a cookout with home-made barbecue, hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs and other treats, which is included in your registration fee. Looking for that perfect souvenir of your 100 mile ride? We'll have Back Roads Century logo gear and our DJ will keep the party going while he hands out door prizes. So be sure to stick around after the ride.
During your ride, you'll stop at White Post Restorations, one of the premier antique automobile restorers in the nation. At White Post you may even get to peek inside the garage, to see some "work in progress".
The White Post rest stop is where we serve our "world famous" tomato sandwiches. These are a favorite of cyclists, and the perfect boost to get you through that last 20 miles. Note: White Post is on the 100, 65 and 50 mile routes - not on the 25 mile route.
How about a photo taken by a professional photographer? There will be professional photographers on-course and at our cookout, taking pictures which will be available for sale. So, when you're out riding be sure to smile for the camera.
Don't forget to pick up your free long sleeve logo t-shirt after the ride (pre-registrants only). You'll get a Back Road Century logo t-shirt, with the ride name and date to commemorate the occasion. Perfect for the cooler fall weather.
