Registration Help and Instructions

Please take a moment to read the instructions below so that your Back Roads Century registration goes smoothly, and you'll minimize the chances of encountering errors and delays.

Complete All Fields

All fields with a red asterisk are required and must be completed accurately. You cannot proceed to the payment page until your registration information is complete.

Enter Accurate Information

We need your correct e-mail address in order to communicate with you. If you make an error in entering your e-mail, you'll miss out on important information and you won't receive your registration receipt. Your mailing address must also be accurate because we'll be mailing your rider number and wristband to you in September. So please enter everything accurately!

Payment Processing

Payment is processed via credit card or PayPal. We do not charge any additional payment processing fees.

If you choose to pay by credit card and you receive an error such as bad card number or incorrect expiration date, our credit card processing company is rejecting your card. We are unable to assist with this problem and you'll need to try another card or use PayPal instead.If you choose to use PayPal, you'll be redirected to PayPal's site for payment processing. Once the transaction is complete you'll be redirected back to the Potomac Pedalers website.

Can't Complete Registration Form - You're Getting Random Errors

If you're experiencing other random errors, the issue is with your computer browser - Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc. It's likely that your browser has cached content which is auto-filling incorrect information in the registration form, resulting in errors.

Clear your browser's cache and history. If you still have problems, we recommend that you install another browser and process your registration with the new browser.

For example, if you use Explorer, install Chrome or Firefox and resubmit your registration. This works just about every time and it will save you lots of time and frustration.

We are unable to assist with computer-specific registration errors, so please try installing a new browser before contacting us.

Security Warning or HTTPS Error

Our payment processing pages are fully encrypted and PCI compliant. If you receive a security warning, certificate warning or HTTPS error, the problem is with the security settings on your browser; not our site. We recommend that you install a new browser such as Chrome for registration processing.

We are unable to assist with computer-specific registration errors, so please try installing a new browser before contacting us.

Potomac Pedalers Member Discount

In order to receive your Potomac Pedalers member discount, you must login to the website prior to registering, After you login, member pricing will automatically be applied to your registration. We will not be issuing refunds if you did not login and you paid non-member pricing.

Each Potomac Pedalers member must login to the website individually, under their own account, in order to register and receive the member discount - even if you have family members under the same account.

Can't Register More Than One Person at a Time 

Each participant must register for the Back Roads Century individually.

All Sales Are Final

All sales are final and we will not be issuing refunds for any reason.
