Directions and Parking

The ride starts at Clarke County High School, 240 Westwood Road, Berryville, VA 22611, about 60-90 minutes west of Washington, DC.

 Parking Map

Below is a map detailing parking and ride start logistics (click to enlarge).

  1. You will enter Main Street (route 7 business) from Harry Byrd Highway (red line).
  2. Turn left at the Fairgrounds entrance and follow the directions of our parking attendants (red line).
  3. Once you reach a parking row (yellow lines) you will be directed to a space.
  4. Exit the Fairgrounds on your bike by following the green line.  The High School is just around the corner.
  5. Turn left on Main Street and right on Westwood Drive (green line).
  6. If you need to stop at the High School for water, rest room or to pick up a rider number, follow the green line to the school entrance.
  7. If you're ready to get rolling, reset your odometer in front of the High School and follow the orange line to begin.

The only cars permitted at the High School (very small lot) are some of our vendors and volunteers.  Thank you for your cooperation.

RV's and Campers - Please see our Camping page for overnight parking and camping

Note:  We have permits for parking at the Fairgrounds Only.  Do not park at the High School or other lots in the vicinity.  They are all being used for church services on Sunday morning and Cyclist's cars will be towed!

Directions

You can print directions by clicking on the red marker and typing in your address in the pop-up dialogue box.  Once you generate the Google Maps directions, look at the top of the screen and you'll see an option for "Include large map".  Be sure to select this, then zoom in and pan for your custom map printout and directions.
